Sizing (Important!) Our shoes fit true to size with a slightly wider instep fit. If you have narrow feet or are between sizes, we recommend sizing down by half a size. Not sure? Exchanges are always free — so don't hesitate to try a size.
Update (Effective April 2026): We made a small adjustment to our shoe lasts, resulting in a slightly wider fit through the instep. If you're reading reviews from before this date, sizing advice may no longer apply — simply order your usual size, or size down if you have narrow feet.
Huaraches should fit snug to start and stretch and mold to your fe et over time allowing for a perfect fit!

The Huarache sandal is pre-Hispanic in origin and has since become a popular shoe in many countries. Each pair is equipped with a padded leather insole to cushion your feet on even the longest days. The natural tanned leather is breathable and keeps your feet cool on those sweltering days and form to your feet over time.

FIT:
As any long-lasting relationship, you and your huaraches will need some time to get to know each other. These shoes will get more comfortable with time and create a custom mold around your feet!
CARE:
As with any pair of leather shoes, in order to make sure your sandals last, we recommend using a leather protector.
We know you won't want to part with your Huarache sandals, but if you are going to get wet, keep them on dry land.

I’ve had these shoes for two full summers- about to enter my third. I put them on the day I got them and I pretty much haven’t taken them off during the spring, summer and well into the fall. They’re so comfortable and they somehow go perfectly with every outfit. I have bunions and these stretch beautifully and put no pressure at all on my feet. They have held up wonderfully with two full years of heavy use. I can’t say enough about how much I love them! I’m actually just in this website again to buy another pair- a different color and style for a little variety, as my kids are sick of seeing the same thing on my feet everyday. Lol
